Materials to use in this method
1. ONE TEASPOON OF PAPRIKA, CINNABAR OR REALGAR POWDER
2. ONE UNOPENED BOTTLE OF HIGH PROOF LIQUOR
3. ONE EGG

Procedure:
1. Buy an egg at a store, Don't allow it to be seen by anyone once you have bought it. Don't talk to anyone after you have purchased the egg
3. At the auspicious time, take out the egg and cook it until it is hard boiled. Do not talk or let yourself be interrupted during this whole procedure.
4. When is egg is hard boiled, take it out and place it in cold water to cool off until you can handle it. ( It should still be warm)
5. Place the Paprika, Cinnabar or Realgar powder in your palm .
a) Men place on left palm
b) Woman place on right palm
6. Add the liquor in drops ( number of equal to your age plus 1) to the powder in your palm
7. Mix the powder and liquor with the middle finger of your opposite hand
8. Rub the egg in mixture in your hands and set aside
9. Put your hands together and rub until dry (visualize that the powder of your choice has sealed your hands so that no bad luck can or will ever enter your body through your palms. Reinforce with Three Secret Reinforcements using dispelling mudra.

10. Place egg in a napkin or paper towel
11. Go outside to a place where the location is higher than your house's foundation and remove the eggshell carefully, saving the eggshell for later use.
12. As you crack the egg and peel the egg, say the words "JIN CHAN TUO KE"
which means THE CICADA SHEDS IT"S SHELL. You visualize that your old life is cracked and that you are shedding off all the bad, negative chi.
13.Eat the egg. While eating the egg say to yourself "XUAN WO BEN ZHAN" which means
'GIVE ME BACK MY TRUE SELF"
14. Put the eggshell in a napkin and walk 100 steps from where you ate the egg,
in the opposite direction of your home.
15.Throw the shell and napkin away, on the ground or in a garbage can. Or feel free to feed the hungry ghosts and plant seeds. As you are throwing it away, visualize all of your bad chi is being thrown away.
16. Then go somewhere else before going home (do not go home directly)
